values: an organization's principles or standards of behavior; the usefulness of something considered in respect of a particular purpose
Ideas and solutions that respect people and reclaim technology.
In his 1999 book, "The Inmates Are Running The Asylum", author Alan Cooper laments that engineers and programmers are "running the show"; that while technology dominates the workplace and our homes, all these gadgets are dauntingly difficult and confusing to use. Who of us doesn't have a story of the video projector that didn't work; the remote with dead batteries, the file that wouldn't open. At Intaglio, because our values call us to respect people, our mission becomes to reclaim technology; to provide for people to take back control of the gadgets and gizmos and allow them to use technology to enhance their work and lives. The way it should be.

PROJECT SCOPE

Intaglio was consulted to design and install a unique 3 camera video display system that would allow Zazio's chef, John Korycki, to demonstrate his cooking techniques to a live audience.

HIGHLIGHTS

Intaglio designed a display system to allow the nightly live cooking event to be seen from multiple angles throughout the restaurant.
The chef can "self-produce" the cooking show himself via a foot pedal operated camera switching system.
A background audio system automatically adjusts itself to the ambient sound levels.
Intaglio integrated five flat panel video displays in strategic locations throughout the restaurant and lounge.
